Your soundcard must be asio 2.0 compatible like a creative Audygy or other good soundcard. Your intern soundcard hosted on the main board of the computer  is not really compatible with live-styler cause there's now Asio driver and the quality is low.

We advice a audigy card because there is an asio driver 2.0 and the possibility to use the wave sounds on the card. There are a lot off cards with asio 2.0. But a combination of asio and wave-sounds are precious.
